E-commerce store for cosmetics and personal care

Cosmetics means batches, period-after-opening dates and product notifications. We build stores where that data lives in product fields rather than in a note inside the description.

What usually hurts in this industry

01Batches and dates outside the systemThe warehouse knows what ships first, but the store sells units. When a complaint arrives, nobody can tell which batch the product came from.
02Bundles counted by handCosmetics sell in sets, and a set’s availability depends on its components. Without that link the store promises a bundle it cannot ship.
03Samples outside the warehouseFree samples are not counted anywhere, so the stock ledger stops matching reality within a month.

What the store does for you

01Batches with dates and numbersA product has batches, the store sells the oldest and records which one shipped. Complaint handling stops being an investigation.
02Bundles calculated from componentsSet availability follows component stock, and selling a set deducts each item separately.
03Samples as stock itemsFreebies and samples have their own stock and rules, so the ledger matches the shelf.

Cases

We will show the closest implementation on a call — batch and bundle handling run in production for us.

Questions we hear most often

Does the store track expiry dates?

Yes. A batch has a number, a quantity and a date. The store sells the oldest available one, blocks expired stock, and the order keeps a record of which batch shipped.

How do bundles work?

A bundle is a composite product: availability follows component stock and a sale deducts each item. Pricing can be fixed or calculated as a discounted sum.

Can we run a loyalty programme?

Yes — points, discount tiers and coupons. It is common in this industry because purchases repeat.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

A standard store takes 2–4 weeks and starts at 6,500 PLN net. Versions with ERP and marketplace integration start at 15,000 PLN.
